Welcome to Higham RacesWith two annual Point-To-Point fixtures, Higham Races makes a fabulously fun and social countryside day out. Tradestands and food a plenty, with fairground attractions for the whole family at Easter. Not forgetting the pony racing and more recently the charity 'Side Saddle Dash', all adding to the equestrian entertainment. For those that like a flutter Higham Races has a number of traditional bookies on-site.
Each year the Higham Races committee nominates an annual charity to support for both fixtures. The 2023/2024 season saw us raise £1,500 for the Rural Coffee Caravan. The Course Higham features a flat oval course comprising eight fences jumped twice, and the home straight jumped three times providing many exciting finishes. It suits those horses that like to front run. The gravelly soil means the course can run early on in the year when other venues are waterlogged – the ground is rarely softer than Good. The course benefits from an irrigation facility close by so can easily be watered for meetings later in the season. |
2025 Season
Higham held two race meetings in 2025; Sunday 9th February and Good Friday 18th April.
Thanks to all our supportive owners whose attendance provided some exceptionally competitive racing over two race meetings in the 2025 season. Many thanks also go to our sponsors for all their support. Thanks to your superb generosity, we've raised over £24,000 to date for our nominated charities. |
2025 Season
We enjoyed two race meetings at Higham this season; Sunday 9th February and Good Friday 18th April.
Our Easter Meeting is always hugely popular and there's plenty to entertain the whole family with a fun fair, tradestands, dog show and lead-rein dashes.
Dates for our 2026 race meetings will be published in due course.
