Can we drop people off at the gate?
Please note that access to both ends of Higham race course is via narrow country lanes with passing places. If you are dropping people off at Higham, and do not wish to attend yourself, then you must drop off at the taxi pick up points which will be clearly signposted on the main highways (either on the Hadleigh Road in Higham or on Sandpits Lane at the Dewlands entrance) and the people attending must walk the last quarter of a mile to the race course, carrying their picnic. This is to avoid major traffic jams caused by cars going against the flow of race goers on single-lane roads.
